In addition to high-end cameras for rigid and flexible endoscopy, the product range from KARL STORZ also offers mobile all-in-one solutions for human and veterinary medicine with its integrated LED light source, LED backlight monitor and documentation unit.

The product spectrum for the aspect of illumination ranges from the high-intensity XENON to the modern LED light source through to the mobile battery light source.

The FULL HD system from KARL STORZ is modular in design and can, therefore, be optimally adapted to suit various requirements. This modular design principle makes it easier to expand the system and guarantees a high degree of future-proofing. Various IMAGE1 S™-Technologies enable surgeons to modify the endoscopic image through homogeneous illumination or by increasing the dynamic contrast. In addition, color hue shifting makes it easier to differentiate between tissue types.

The Karl Storz Image 1 SPIES Camera System is the core element in the field of gastroenterology: efficient, innovative, and brilliant. This innovation can be individually tailored to suit the requirements of the gastroenterology department and offers optimal performance in combination with the endoscopes of the GI SILVER SCOPE  series.

With its particularly fine color space calibration, the HD image quality of the Karl Storz Image 1 SPIES Camera System has been optimally adjusted to satisfy the requirements in the field of gastroenterology. Its connection via the KARL STORZ Communication Bus (SCB) ensures constantly optimal lighting in the maximum and minimum ranges. The new KARL STORZ image port on the front enables simple connection and comfortable storage of image and video data on the supplied USB stick. The data is filed in JPG or MPEG4 format and can be processed further as required.
